THE FACELESS ORDER

No crest. No family name. No face. He arrived during a bad winter, took a place among the guards, and somehow never left. Since then, people have simply known him as the Anonymous Knight.
THE LEGEND
Everyone knows
the knight.
Nobody knows the person inside.
He first appeared years ago with no banner, no title and no explanation. He fought when the gates were threatened, stayed when the fighting ended, and slowly became part of the kingdom.
Some call him a disgraced noble. Others say he was never anyone important at all. He never confirms either story, and no one asks him to remove the helmet anymore.
THE WATCH
He looks
beyond the wall.
He takes the late watch even when nobody asks him to. From the western wall he studies the roads, the villages and the mountains beyond them, as if waiting for something only he expects to arrive.

Keep the armor bright.
Keep the name hidden.
Keep moving.
OFF DUTY
Every quest
ends at the bar.
When there is nothing left to defend, he disappears into the same crowded tavern as everyone else. Soldiers know his table, the keeper knows his usual drink, and nobody has ever seen what is beneath the paper.

By now the name means more than the man beneath it. No bloodline, title or famous face is required. You only have to show up when the kingdom needs you.
